Your account, your controls.
ChessUrge stores the account details needed to run your profile and the chess data you create. We do not sell personal data, and we do not use your games to train a public model. You can download a copy or delete your account at any time.

- Account and chess dataUntil you delete your account, then removed by cascade.
- Security logsUp to 12 months, then deleted or aggregated.
- Billing recordsAs required by Indian tax and accounting law.
- Email delivery logsRecipient and delivery status only; no message body. Short-lived operational retention.
- BackupsEncrypted and rotated on a fixed schedule; deleted data ages out with the backup cycle.
Access, export, delete.
- Export your dataDownload profile, games, studies, clubs, tournament entries, puzzle attempts and follows as JSON.
- Delete your accountPermanently remove the account and its related data. Export first if you want a copy.

What is set in your browser.
Current settings.
Essential cookies are required to sign in and play. You can block non-essential cookies in your browser without losing core features. To opt out of Google Analytics across sites, use the Google Analytics opt-out add-on. To manage ad personalisation, visit Google Ad Settings.
Who processes data.
- CloudflareDNS and edge proxy. Turnstile bot protection is currently enabled on sign-in and other forms.
- RazorpayPayment checkout is currently disabled. No payment data is sent to Razorpay from this build.
- GoogleGoogle OAuth sign-in is disabled. Analytics is enabled; AdSense is disabled. Each service is used only for its stated purpose.
- ChessUrge mail infrastructureTransactional email, verification links and one-time sign-in codes. Email logs keep recipient and delivery status, not message bodies.
- HostingOur application and database servers are currently in India. Backups are encrypted at rest.
